The Ingenious Machinations of Logan Bramley

A submission for SHS Lit Mag 2010-11.

Allegory of the Iceberg

I cranked out this brief 850-word essay on a boring November evening. The idea had been stewing for a while and I figured I might as well write it out.

Disclaimer: There’s bound to be holes in this argument; an iceberg is certainly not a perfect metaphor for the human mind. There are also no scholarly sources cited here; though I’m sure there’ve been studies to the effect I’m getting at, I’m too lazy to find them.

The Plunge

This is a short (under 1k words) piece of flash fiction I whipped together in twenty minutes on a 10-hour plane ride.

DISCLAIMER: If you are absurdly oversensitive and get offended very easily, you have only yourself to blame.

WIP Introduction

This is the introduction to my current untitled WIP. Progress has slowed recently, but it's gradually chugging along.
